All Scouts and Leaders, please RSVP on both weekend entries for Artic Adventure by December 6 so PLC can discuss if we have enough interest to attend one of the weekends.  When RSVP'ing, please mark in the notes field if you can attend all weekend or would only be available for a single long day on Saturday. A signup for any interested in a December campout is also included, as is the RSVP link for the upcoming Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

On Tuesday the 29th, we will have a scout meeting at the American Legion.  We will be awarding all awards and ranks earned over the summer (mothers please remember your ribbon if your son is earning a rank advancement).  We will also be voting in a new set of scout leaders who will take up office on November 5th.

Because the team from October 19th made such great progress on road cleanup, we are canceling the Oct 26 cleanup event.  Thank you to all the scouts and parents that assisted on October 19th.

Bay Lakes is offering the following 4 merit badges this year; registration is open for each - and goes fast.  Each event has a small cost to attend and is limited in the number of scouts that may register. Any scout interested in earning one of these merit badges and willing to travel, please look at the registration information specific to the event.  Note about the Eagle required merit badges - the counselor is a very thorough woman.  She will not pass you for the day unless you have all of your pre-requisites with you to turn in, AND every requirement slot has a written answer in the packet from the discussion/lecture presented.

In addition to the regular meeting, October 15 will be Board of Reviews and Scout Master conferences for any scouts that need them for their next rank.  If you are unsure of whether these reviews are for you, please reach out to Mr. Weber or Mrs. Williams.  Parents are needed for Board of Reviews - please come if able!
