This is a busy month for the troop. We will be preparing for and holding leadership elections this month. Please come to the meeting on Nov 3rd for information. We have a couple of troop outings coming up that are good service hour opportunities, including the re-scheduled road cleanup and Kapco's Kids2Kids toy drive. Finally, don't forget about Pyromania the first weekend of the month. Scouts like fire and camping!
This is a reminder that all scouts and adults participating in the October 23rd campout should meet at the Scout House at 5:30pm on Friday evening to arrange carpooling to the campsite. Have dinner prior to coming (or bring something cold to eat along the way). Breakfast Saturday morning is also cold/bring your own - please remember your mess kits. All other meals will be provided. Assignments for teaching were discussed at Tuesday's meeting and you can find more detailed information in the email being sent out.
Please see the calendar and sign-up section of the website to register for several Fall events. We are looking for a good turnout at both campouts (our annual Cub Scout invitational and the famous Pyromania) as well as service hour volunteers.
The first troop meeting for the school year will be held Sept 15th at the Scout House. There will be a recap of what we did this summer and discussion about what we would like to do for the year. The Photo Album have been updated for 2020. Please take a look.
Even though Tesomas isn't happening this year, we have plenty of other camping opportunities that we have scheduled this summer! This weekend we are going canoeing (thank you to everyone who signed up) in the Horicon Marsh. But in July, you can still sign up to go camping in Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay, as well as Devil's Lake in August, where we will be doing fun climbing activities. Please see the calendar for details.
