Hi Scouts and Parents;
We are very busy moving into the end of the school year. Please arrange your calendar to attend these events. I encourage all to attend the Memorial Day events.

The 2013 Summer Camp section of the website has been updated with the latest information from Camp Tesomas. Please review the material especially the checklist of items noted.

A new merit badge, Sustainability, is planned for a summer 2013 at the national jamboree. It will become an Eagle-required merit badge as an option to Environmental Science.

Effective January 1, 2014, the Cooking merit badge will be required for to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. This change will apply to any Scout who does not fulfill all the Eagle requirements – with the exception of his Eagle Board of Review – before Jan. 1, 2014.

Wood Badge training for 2013 is being planned for the dates of September 6-8, 2013 & October 4-6, 2013. The course will be held over two weekends. The first will be at Cub Scout World, Camp Rokilio in Kiel, WI and the second at Bear Paw Scout Camp in Mountain, WI.

Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers. Training must be taken every two years. This includes all adult leaders and any parent that would like to volunteer to help with the troop.
