1. March 18 – 20 – Bear Paw - Maple Syrup Days – $45 for the weekend – includes sleeping indoors, pancake breakfast on Saturday with maple syrup, all day events on Saturday. Please sign-up by Friday, Feb 12th.  http://cedarburg835.mytroop.us/node/4526

Interested in Working at Summer Camp?

Gardner Dam Scout Camp is looking to fill a variety of positions for the upcoming 2016 Summer Camp Season. Positions are available for those individuals ages 15 through 21 and up. There is counselor in training positions, area positions, specialty positions (Ex: Welding, ATV, Kayak), director positions, food service positions and administrative positions. For some college students the positions can be worked into an internship depending on your area of study. Positions include room and board and a competitive salary based on camp school training, area position, experience, level of responsibility, years of service. If interested, please complete an application which can be found by going to www.baylakesbsa.org, click on the “About Us" tab, then “Employment Opportunities”, then “Summer Camp Staff Application”. Applications should be e-mailed in advance of interviews to Raquel Strayer at rlstrayer@gmail.com. Returning staff must also complete a new application. National Youth Leader Training (NYLT) - Registration is OPEN -- 2 sessions being offered

An intensive week long Leadership Training Course for Venturers, and Boy Scouts who are 13 years of age and older and are of 1st Class rank and above. This course which has been called "Wood Badge for youth" is a life changing experience for many. While participants will be equipped to provide enthusiastic, and competent leadership for their Troop, or Crew in the context of the Patrol Method, they will also gain leadership skills and experiences which will prove valuable throughout the rest of their lives.
